More Suggestion/Idea Pics

Okay, some more test pics for the ideas you guys have tossed out so far. First up is the ever popular Jessica Rabbit. Changed her hair out from previous sets cuz that previous hair model was just shitty to work with. Not exactly like her typical hair but I think it looks quite a bit better, and is easier on me for posing & rendering so that counts for alot too. Also slightly tweaked her face and body morphs a bit, and reworked the texture nodes. Already have a partner in mind for her, but open to suggestions as always.

Then we got our little Wild West cowgirl. True, not suggested previously. However, I have gotten myself completely addicted to HBO's Westworld. Which if you haven't checked out, you really should. No it's not the nudey GoT fuckfest that was hinted at with all the press releases, but it has a potentially interesting story. Whether or not it remains interesting or devolves into some Lost-type of bullshit remains to be seen. Anyway, was of course inspired to do a bit of work on our cowgirl. And as a sidenote, the show has also given me a massive hard-on for the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. I am so pre-ordering that shit! Cuz that'd be a good idea, right?

And lastly the suggestion for a redux of Pirotess & the Mind Flayer. One of the very first sets I ever released... and it was terrible. I look back on those sets and just cringe. Course I do that with sets I released last year too. Always room to improve. But I digress. Did quite a bit of reworking for the two of them. Updating the node layout for SSS, changing textures, new morphs and sculpting, altering the poly count on the squid head to not be so... well... shit. Also turns out that Pirotess was the original base for my WoW Belf - totally forgot. Also amusingly enough, I still have never watched Record of Lodoss War all the way through. Think I got a handful of episodes in before getting bored and turning it off. How did it ever become an old school anime staple?

And in general news, working on the Halloween Vampire set that I promised somebody a long ass time ago. Got a week to finish it and will hopefully make the deadline. After that figuring I'll probably do Harley/Bane. Course around that time we will also have the election and reckon I'll fall into a deep depression. So who knows how long that will take to finish.

Idea Test Pics

Alright, first up we got Harley. Pretty happy with how she turned out. Though actually on second look, could probably try a red bra beneath the shirt. Might add something? Anyway, suggestion was for her to pair up with Killer Croc. Gotta say not terribly thrilled on that idea though. He just kinda seemed like a lackluster character in the film. And a quick search through comic history doesn't give alot to go off either. He's just kinda "bleh". Would be fairly easy to model him up though, so he does have that going for it. Am pondering having Bane have a go at her. Again easy to model up, and has that whole "ultimate badass" (and closet Luche Libre) thing going for him. But I am also constantly reminded of Mr Mumbles from the movie, so he has that against him. You guys got any other ideas for who to bang the hell out of Harley?

And then the ever popular Power Girl getting violated by a super mutt. Now some may remember my epic hatred of Krypto - the lame dog in a cape. Which changed with the New 52 when he became the murderous wolf-beast thing, and looked ALOT meaner. Took a bit of time, but got something I was finally satisfied with - thanks Poser Hair room. Some folks suggested "Wolf". Took me awhile to figure out just who/what the fuck "Wolf" was. Turns out it's Lex Luthor's version of evil Krypto - a mutated Timber Wolf. Which the New 52 apparently blatantly ripped off to make the "new Krypto". Go figure. Pretty much all the same in the end. So only thing I'm really stumped on is location/scene. Where shall the bestial frolicking ensue? Oh, and Power Girl's hair. Works? Too short? Pretty happy with it, but still kinda on the fence.

And lastly, our favorite slutty Shadowrun bartender, Cherry Bomb. Here's the poster pic some were asking about. Never really had a set idea in mind for it originally. It was just an add-on pic for another Shadowrun set. Was originally going to go with this pic from way back in the old days of Renderotica. But couldn't figure out who in the hell the artist was (anybody know?). Like many from the early days of render pr0n, he just sorta vanished. So figuring that I couldn't give proper credit, just decided to make my own version. And then since there was some interest, fleshed out the idea a bit more for a set.

So there ya go! If ya have any ideas / opinions on them, post a comment. Currently working on another set (which isn't one of the above). And still have some other idea pics I'm working on as well. But as usual, if you have more ideas post them below.

New Random Stuff

Some lighting test pics for the next set. Trying a higher ambient, with lower specularity on the main lights, and some bleed thru on the shadows. Cuz that's what you want to know, right? Not that it's the continuing adventures of the mighty Groknar. Apparently in the frozen North or somesuch this time. Nah, you want to know about the render settings. Cuz that's sexy... and stuff.

Erogenesis

And also Erogenesis has his blog up and running. Well actually it's been up for a few weeks now. But this is the first time I've mentioned it, so it's surely the first time you've heard of it. For I am the font of all knowledge... that's a few weeks old *cough*. In any case, he has some interesting stuff there for render-folks. Most notably his awesome Lali Bits project. And his on-going battle to get it to work. Which is a useful insight into how Poser works for those that are interested.

Even More Random Stuff

Right-o. So here's some random shit I've been playing around with for awhile. Don't think I've uploaded any of it before. If I already have I'll look kinda silly. In any case, some ideas I've had floating around in my head. Some might make it into sets. Some might not. But there is one that definitely will...

... Judge Anderson from the recent Dredd movie. Never got around to seeing it when it came out, but one of you adoring fans pointed me towards it yesterday. Was actually pretty good (as far as pew-pew movies go). Karl Urban was a proper Judge Dredd - he never took off his helmet. And Olivia Thirlby as Anderson was just plain yummmm! Plus a great scene where she does her Psi-thing and goes into a thug's head, and he tries to turn it around on her. And since it was such a great scene, and since the DVD of the movie is being released today, it's going to be this week's set. Oh! And it also stars Lena Headey, the chick from the terrible Terminator TV show, but more famously the incestuous "mother-from-hell" Lannister from Game of Thrones (site takes forever to load - fuck HBO). Which of course leads to....

... another set idea. Starring our favorite blonde bombshell model Jenny Poussin as the lovely Daenerys Targaryen! Cuz they are so alike. Well they are both blonde. And hot. So whatever. In any case, won't be until March-ish for this set. Cuz that's when the next season of Game of Thrones starts. And if you've somehow eeked out a pitiful existence without seeing the series, you should rectify that immediately and give some meaning to your otherwise pathetic life. Yes, it's that good. Now there is a problem... HBO sucks. Big time. They didn't put the series up on Netflix or Hulu. Which is probably why it ended up as the world's most pirated series. But that's what happens when you have an outdated business model centered on a dying media source that is all designed to fuck over the customer. Brilliant! Now if you want to legally watch the episodes (which of course you do) you can buy the episodes thru Amazon, or get the DVD sets. Oh! And speaking of Jenny....

...she has printed up the three Ensign Jenny sets as a comic. "But I already have the sets! Durrrr." Au contraire ma cherie! (Do French Canadians even say that?) For there is more than just the sets. Jenny has cut-up, reformatted, and added text to the images to create an actual story! And it's pretty good too. You too can get yourself a signed copy if you send her an email/dA-mail and a few dubloons (or whatever Canadians use as money - ice chips? moose droppings?). Which of course leads to...

... well actually this has nothing to do with anything. It's just a test pic of a tavern. And I thought I'd include it because... okay I have no idea why I'm including it. It's a tavern. And it's there. So.... yeah.

Zafo: Witchcraft

Another awesome set from Zafo with his signature super-cute girls! A hottie fuchsia-haired (I so rarely get to use that word) witch who isn't very good at controlling her magic. But she is damn good at getting drilled by what she accidentally conjures. It's 25 pics of charming magical fun available at mongo-bongo-art.com. And of course, all the money goes to Zafo. Support your local artist (and his sick Xmas aardvarks)!

And who are these happy New Year's Eve revelers? Oh you know! Stop pretending you don't. But we probably won't get to see them until after New Years, cuz the scenery is taking FOREVER to render.

Let's see... what else...? Ah! The Hobbit! Was reading the paper this morning at the coffee shop and they had it listed as 2-1/2 stars. Seriously. WTF? Sure it wasn't "the film that defines a generation" but it was still pretty decent. Definitely the best film adaption to date (though the 70's cartoon version with the half-hour drug trip still ranks up there). Meanwhile the paper even gave Skyfall 3-1/2 stars, and that was a travesty compared to the other recent Bond films. Meh. Fuck 'em. Hobbit was good. Especially the scene where they were entering Rivendale. ZOMG the colors! Fap! Fap! Fap! So good. Even got me excited about the idea of some nubile young lass gang-banged by Dwarves and a Hobbit.... then I realized there are no dwarfy beards for Poser. Not a single one. Which is really weird. So... yeah.

More Ideas?

Alrighty then. So it seems like the new set is being a little bitch and doesn't want to get done quickly. So while we are sitting around waiting for that, figured I might as well troll y'all for more ideas. Been a few months since the last round - July iirc. So about time for some more. Feel free to toss anything out there. Even if it was already suggested last time (except for Krypto the lame super mutt). Same thing as last time - keep the idea short and sweet. Two sentences max.

Also here are some other things I've been working on. Both recent and from a looooong time ago.

Vampire Chicks: Which One?

So some quick mock-ups of some vamp chicks for next week's set. Any preferences? Will probably end up being a very bitey and scratchy type of set. Not a whole lot of romance involved when two monsters end up banging the hell out of each other.

I did consider doing the Tala idea as well. But after some thought it's just a bit too fringe, so not everybody is gonna pick up the whole "native-american monster-hunting shaman vampire" thing. But will probably pick up the shaman chick idea again at some point.

EDIT 10/1 - Riiight. So no clear-cut winner. You people are completely USELESS :-P (just kidding). Hmmm.... Guess I'll just go with the emo-WoD vampire. Should be a bit easier.

SW:TOR is Free!

So a couple months ago, I said you might want to wait until SW:TOR was free before trying it out. Some doubted my wisdom. Now that time has come. SW:TOR is free! Kinda. Well it's free, for this weekend. Dropped by the website to see what was new there and found this tidbit. So if you wanted to check it out, now is a good time. For some reason they will only let you get up to 10th level or so for the free trial. Which is kinda weird, cuz the storylines don't really get you hooked until 15th or so. But then they make real weird decisions there. (Which may be why they now have to offer a free weekend to get people hooked.)

But we certainly can't leave our twi'lek with such a smug look on her face. So instead she gets to discover what the Rakghouls of Taris are really looking for. And also a small teaser for the next set I'm working on. Odds are it's gonna be done middle of next week.

Quickie Notice

Right. So a pair of sites I've been meaning to mention for about a month now. But been so damn flaky that I haven't got around to it 'til now. Deal with it. But it's kinda weird cuz both are REALLY good artists with great sites.

Vanilla ToonGirls
First is Vanilla Toongirls. Which frankly is awesome just based on the banner alone - pouty lips dribbling cum. Doesn't get much better than that! The fact that the sets are fantastic with crisp renders and inspired camera angles is just icing on the cake. Actually they are even better than the banner. It's mostly fantasy-type settings that star (surprise surprise) toon girls of various levels of toonage. Everything from a subtle touch of non-reality to full-on ultra-toon look. So go check it out!

Intrigue3d
The other site is Intrigue3d run by Supro. With big-breasted hotties with a more realistic look using the incomparable Lux rendering. Good stuff! If the style looks familiar, it's cuz Supro also does stuff over at Affect3d. So go give it a look-see!

Oh! And figure I might as well give a little teaser for what I'm working on. A nice Valentine's Day set featuring none other than... Jill Valentine. Expect lot's of romance, hearts, red velvet, and lace... or not. In any case, should be done this weekend. (And just gotta say, I really like how the lighting turned out in this pic!)

More Random Stuff

Figured since The Old Republic MMO is opening today I'd toss up some test pics I've been doing for some Star Wars stuff. If anybody tries the game out, give me a yell on how it is. Been looking for a new MMO to waste time with. And reckon if Bioware made it, it'll probably be decent.

And another test pic of stuff I've had floating around that should make at least one person a bit happy. :-P

And last but not least (and continuing on the sci-fi theme), another blog with some good stuff. JessicaQ is a big fan of Pixelator's SpaceBabes series, and with his blessing started some of her own stories. Definitely worth checking out!
