After way too much time battling with html code, wrangling things with the subscription service, and various other things it's finally done -
www.mongo-bongo-art.com is active! Now before it comes as a huge shocker, it is a pay site. $11.99/month. Sad but true. If you can't afford it, don't worry I will still update the blog. There will just be more stuff on the paysite. Yell at the folks who screwed me on commissions if you want to blame somebody.
Also here's another teaser for the new site. Some watermarked pics, and a few b-side pics
(basically pics I didn't think were good enough for the set). Turns out the set is loosely based on an anime called
Devil Hunter Yohko. Never even knew until a couple weeks ago. LOL. It started as a commission last year. But ended with the all too familiar
"time to pay half" and the client vanishes. Rather frustrating to say the least. But whatever. Still made for a fun set.

I'd like to sub, but the fact that you've had two major periods of non-activity on the blogspot this year bothers me a little about paying $11.99 a month. Are you going to be able to maintain regular postings, or will there be the possibility of more dry spells like the Jan-May and the May-Aug droughts with a paysite? That's the only thing stopping me from doing it right away.
pay sight huh? heh heh... well excuse me while I delete someone off of my top 5 3d artist list...
Amilee is cute as always; create warning snap. Glad you got the site up & best of luck with it. You'll always remain up in the top 5 of my list :)
i told you to contact me regarding those commissions, because i may pick them up off your hands and satisfy everybody that way!
I wish you hadn't gone pay, it is somewhat unfortunate as I won't been visiting your site.
I've enjoyed your art over the last year and I will keep visiting your blog until it closes but this is farewell from me.
Aussie.
You've got a lot of nerve thinking that artists deserve to be rewarded for adding to our enjoyment of life. Sheesh...
The site looks good.
Really like the new site. The new content rocks.
I would subscribe... but I'm not very comfortable with transaction services that aren't Paypal =/
Wonderful!
You are my favourite 3D artist. It's a shame you went pay sight, but I can perfectly understand the motivation behind it. Hope you'll change your mind. Until than I'll stick with the blog. I really like your Angel/Devil work, one of the best I've seen so far.
Messa
My sympathies for those who are upset. But perhaps at some point you will change your mind and check out the site, even if it's only for a month.
As for those who are wary, Zombaio is actually a pretty damn good payment processor. They've been around for quite a few years and cater strictly to the adult entertainment market. And since they are looking to corner it, I certainly don't expect them to just up and disappear or try any trickery.
For my part, I don't intend to take any time off. In fact I'm planning for new sets every week. But if something catastrophic happens and I do vanish, one can always just cancel their subscription. It's not like you're signing some huge contract or anything.
I saw you have a download section with several sets for 10 dollars each, and a message that says become a member and get 80 percent off. Do you charge 11 a month plus a cost to download each set of images?
Glad you finally got the new website up and running, but didn't know it would be a paysite. You are treading in dangerous waters, my friend. The kind of content you like to make is the kind of content that Visa has put the smack down on all CC processors for. For example, the above set is unacceptable because it contains both monsters and forced sex. Be sure to read their fine print and be careful what you post. If you are interested in knowing what is unacceptable, check out my blog post from awhile back concerning this. It is pretty much universal for all CC processors who accept Visa. Very stringent guidelines, unfortunately. Good luck with the new site!
Grats to the new side.
I also find it sad that ya have to resort to a payside but it's your choice but 11,99 (or 8,83 Euro for me) isn't that much. Noone is forced to stay signed for the whole time and can switch on and off as they see fit.
Best luck with your blog and payside.
Gaaah, Pay site. Sad to see some of the best stuff won't be showcased how I thought...well, at least I commissioned you properly and got to ya before you went that route.
I hope I can commission more from you in the future at least, and if you use K'rikka, please let me see any pictures! I really don't mind what you do to her... well, aside from change her appearance. :)
A paysite? Really?
Time to remove your blog from my favorites, I think.
I like this one so much!
Honestly, you really need to be upfront at the registration or home page about charging to download content. If you are proud (and rightfully so) of your product, be honest to the potential customer.
Having said that, I really don't want to register my credit card with Google to buy your product. I really prefer not to give my information to a corporation that willfully sells it out.
Having said all of that, I want to buy each and every set you make, because it is worth it and it is exceedingly right that a talented artist is rewarded for his hard work.
I am going to poke around a bit and maybe I'll risk a registering a card on Google, but dang I don't want to.
Bravo on the beautiful website.
