New Site Finally Done!

After way too much time battling with html code, wrangling things with the subscription service, and various other things it's finally done - www.mongo-bongo-art.com is active! Now before it comes as a huge shocker, it is a pay site. $11.99/month. Sad but true. If you can't afford it, don't worry I will still update the blog. There will just be more stuff on the paysite. Yell at the folks who screwed me on commissions if you want to blame somebody.

Also here's another teaser for the new site. Some watermarked pics, and a few b-side pics (basically pics I didn't think were good enough for the set). Turns out the set is loosely based on an anime called Devil Hunter Yohko. Never even knew until a couple weeks ago. LOL. It started as a commission last year. But ended with the all too familiar "time to pay half" and the client vanishes. Rather frustrating to say the least. But whatever. Still made for a fun set.

Commission: Wonder Woman & Lara Croft

Lara travels to Themyscira (Island of the Amazons) to steal a cursed demon idol. Wonder Woman is too late to warn her, and the evil horse demon is unleashed! And his first victims are the unlucky heroines.

Another commission I recently finished. Yeah, I've been doing alot of them. Think I'll take a break from any large commissions for awhile and focus on my stuff for a bit. Anyway, I never really got into the Wonder Woman thing before. Usually stuck to reading Marvel comics. But did a bit of reading and she ain't bad at all.

And the DC Comics reboot ("The New 52"), is pretty damn good! Definitely gonna have to do some stuff with the new Slutfire... err, I mean Starfire.

Really did like doing this one cuz I had the Mindflayer made up awhile ago and hadn't gotten around to using it. Plus who can resist the lovely Pirotess from The Record of Lodoss War?

K'rikka Teaser

Seems that some attentive people noticed some other pics I uploaded. Character study pics of one of the commissions I'm currently working on. Starring none other than Malcanthet's sexy goblin girl K'rikka. You may recognize her from solo & group sets that Vaesark did. Except this time she gets to hook up with some slightly more attractive partners.

Well obviously I have not been posting lately. Been busy gaming and the like. Also, almost managed to completely kill the blog sometime ago. Accidentally deleted everything. Fortunately had an old save that had everything except the most recent post, which didn't even have any pics. So thank goodness for small favors.

And client opted for an animation as well. First time I tried for the multiple angle thing. Kinda liked it. Plus! Got some great tips on how to dramatically cut down the size of the animation files while maintaining quality. Turns out the blank audio track takes up a HUGE amount of space (complete noob when it comes to video rendering).

Warcraft commission that client was kind enough to allow to be released. Pair of paladins end up captured by a Nathrezim and his Darkhound pet. Really liked the way this one turned out. Especially the Draenei, definitely gonna have to use her again!
