Idea Test Pics

Alright, first up we got Harley. Pretty happy with how she turned out. Though actually on second look, could probably try a red bra beneath the shirt. Might add something? Anyway, suggestion was for her to pair up with Killer Croc. Gotta say not terribly thrilled on that idea though. He just kinda seemed like a lackluster character in the film. And a quick search through comic history doesn't give alot to go off either. He's just kinda "bleh". Would be fairly easy to model him up though, so he does have that going for it. Am pondering having Bane have a go at her. Again easy to model up, and has that whole "ultimate badass" (and closet Luche Libre) thing going for him. But I am also constantly reminded of Mr Mumbles from the movie, so he has that against him. You guys got any other ideas for who to bang the hell out of Harley?

And then the ever popular Power Girl getting violated by a super mutt. Now some may remember my epic hatred of Krypto - the lame dog in a cape. Which changed with the New 52 when he became the murderous wolf-beast thing, and looked ALOT meaner. Took a bit of time, but got something I was finally satisfied with - thanks Poser Hair room. Some folks suggested "Wolf". Took me awhile to figure out just who/what the fuck "Wolf" was. Turns out it's Lex Luthor's version of evil Krypto - a mutated Timber Wolf. Which the New 52 apparently blatantly ripped off to make the "new Krypto". Go figure. Pretty much all the same in the end. So only thing I'm really stumped on is location/scene. Where shall the bestial frolicking ensue? Oh, and Power Girl's hair. Works? Too short? Pretty happy with it, but still kinda on the fence.

And lastly, our favorite slutty Shadowrun bartender, Cherry Bomb. Here's the poster pic some were asking about. Never really had a set idea in mind for it originally. It was just an add-on pic for another Shadowrun set. Was originally going to go with this pic from way back in the old days of Renderotica. But couldn't figure out who in the hell the artist was (anybody know?). Like many from the early days of render pr0n, he just sorta vanished. So figuring that I couldn't give proper credit, just decided to make my own version. And then since there was some interest, fleshed out the idea a bit more for a set.

So there ya go! If ya have any ideas / opinions on them, post a comment. Currently working on another set (which isn't one of the above). And still have some other idea pics I'm working on as well. But as usual, if you have more ideas post them below.

Spider-man: Green Goblin - Part 1

The first part of a Green Goblin set. Gwen Stacy gets a ride home in the back of Norman Osborn's limo. It's 40 pics of Goblin formula fun available only at www.mongo-bongo-art.com. And the set download is free for members for the next month(or so)!

So went with the Willem Dafoe version of Norman Osborne. Cuz he did a kickass job of it, trying to do the hair from the comic version would just look weird. Seriously what kind of hair style is that? Does hair even do that? Whatever. Dafoe was better and easier anyway. And tried to channel in a bit of Bobby Peru as well. Cuz he freaked me the fuck out in that role. Also the set is kinda in time for the release of the Amazing Spider-man 2 DVD. Ok, not really. And wasn't intended either, was just a happy coincidence. Wasn't even a very good movie (think I reviewed it last Spidey set). Don't waste your money on the DVD.

And speaking of wasting money, people are still signing up for subscription memberships. Why?!! I suppose it would make sense if they were doing it to make use of the discount before it's ended... but they aren't. So it's just weird. Really don't understand it. But whatever, their money. Also this is the first of the last two free member downloads (did that even make sense?), so only ONE more free set left. Which coincidentally enough, will be part two of Green Goblin. Will probably also be around the same size (35-40 pics). After that it's gonna be smaller sets (20-30 pics) unfortunately. On the plus side, they should get finished a bit sooner.

TMNT: Rooftop

April gets caught trying to score a pic of the turtles, and they end up scoring with her (well gang-banging the fuck out her tbh) instead. It's 28 pics of Turtle Power at www.mongo-bongo-art.com. And the set download is free for members for the next month-ish.

Time to destroy more of your childhood. Cuz if Michael Bay is doing it, I can too! And in honor of the new film, did an old twist on a new theme. Or is it new twist on an old theme? Does it really matter? It's Megan Fox (kinda) in the old April outfit, getting cock-slammed by turtles. Just cuz. And if you want something a bit more oldskool and nostalgic TMNT - go check out Akabur. His shit was the inspiration to do this set when I first heard the movie was coming out. And speaking of the movie...

So yeaahhhh.... the movie. It's not so good. Y'know how most of the time I'm saying "well the film wasn't spectacular, but it's okay to see"? Well in this case it isn't. It's not that it's terrible, it's just made for 8-year olds. So it can get away with alot of stupid bullshit that doesn't make any sense and it will still work fine for it's target audience (the aforementioned 8-year olds). On an amusing note - thought I'd be able to avoid the masses of screaming vermin children by going to see the early afternoon show - no such luck. In any case, the plot doesn't make sense, characters aren't believable, villains have no motivation, archetypical roles are stereotypically dull, and people unexplainably disappear from scenes with frightening regularity. But it does have talking turtles. With weapons. Who do ninja shit. So yeah.....

Oh, and it has Megan Fox. And while she is great eye-candy and does make up for alot of the movie, it's not enough to save it. I'll admit though, I am somewhat biased. She did lose a bit of stock when I found out that this clown put two kids in her. Or was it this clown? Is there a difference? So wrong either way. (Though in Greene's defense he did grow up to be a damn fine looking man. No homo.)

Anyway, my recommendation is to skip the movie. Not even worth checking out once it hits NetFlix. But if you have vermin children that are whining to see it, you can make it thru - not gonna kill you, and it does have Megan Fox.

Oh, by the way... You may have noticed that posting rules have been slightly changed. No more anonymous posts. Will it stop the spamming? Nope. But at least we will know who to ignore (looking at you Billy and Sitkin). Oh and while I'm at it, I'm also gonna start deleting posts that have "ratings", say anything negative about other artists (you can still critique me as much as you like though), seem even remotely like a double spam post, or anything I just generally find overly annoying. Since a few bad apples are spoiling the bunch, I gotta moderate the douchebags. Sucks, but people can't seem to act like adults.

Spider-man: Dr Octopus

Time for some more web-slinging action! Which is another way of saying "time for more Gwen Stacy getting cock slammed". It's 28 pics of superheroic action available only at www.mongo-bongo-art.com. And the set download is free for members for the next month(or so)!

Finally fucking done. This scene was hating on my poor little laptop. Way too many props and figures. And then for renders had that throat-punch combo of Transmap + Reflections. But finally done. So yay! And to be honest I wasn't even particularly enjoying the way the set came out until I started postworking it. Can solve so many lighting issues that way.

Anyway, so wanted to do this set for awhile now. Cuz good ole Otto Octavius is kicking ass in the recent arc of Spider-man. He killed off Peter Parker, stole his body, and is now running around as The Superior Spider-man (and he is completely awesome at it). Oh... spoiler. Now I've always kinda written Doc Ock off as a sideline joke villain. But apparently back in the day, he was an utter badass who fuck Spidey up on a regular basis. And he made a comeback with a vengeance. If you haven't been following the comic, I suggest you do so (digital or Amazon). Story is great, and Ramos (one of my fave artists) does alot of the work on it. And it does a great job of showing Octavius adapting to his new situation, trying to be a hero, and then sliding back to his old crazy megalomaniac ways. And the man can drop an "Egads!" with style and aplomb like no other. But reckon shit is coming to head, and his house of cards is gonna fall down pretty damn soon. So check it out!

Doomsday!

Wonder Woman and Power Girl go up against the unstoppable engine of destruction - Doomsday. It's 26 pics of super heroicness at www.mongo-bongo-art.com. And of course, the set download is free for members for the next month(-ish).

So in celebration of Power Girl getting her proper outfit back, thought I'd do one of the superhero sets I've been bouncing around in my head (with a few great suggestions from fans). What am I talking about? Well you do know who Power Girl is, right? Well when DC rolled out the New52 reboot the gave her a new god-awful shit costume (the one on the left obviously) that looks like a cross between a tracksuit and something a villain would wear in a bad sci-fi show. Needless to say, folks were not impressed. Well after a bout a year of that bullshit she finally got her old outfit back. So yay for that. Now if they could just get some better writers for that comic. (Note that DC does have alot of kick-ass writers working for them at the moment. They are doing some seriously good shit these days.)

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

So saw the new Trek movie the other day. Could say the it was decent but not super-fantastic, but instead let's focus on the important parts.... ZOMG Carol Marcus / Alice Eve is fukkinhawt! (spoiler) And that's all you really need to know. I mean sure there was like some plot stuff in there, and some special effects. But mmmmmmm.... Alice Eve. So yeah, decent movie. Was like two movies really. First half was a new script, and the second half was a re-imaging homage to Wrath of Khan. Some of the twists they threw in there were kinda amusing. But they really did not need the "KHHHHAAAAANNNNNN!!!". Especially since it didn't echo in space. Also kept expecting Spock to draw lines across people's foreheads and dig around in their brains.... never happened (spoiler!). Oh, and an Ensign Jenny set is next. Duh.

Wonder Woman: Hades

Wonder Woman enters the underworld to save a soul. But first she must face Cerebus the triple-headed guard-beast of Hades. And she ends up taking all three heads at once. It's 38 pics of classical Greek-ness that Plato would approve of (maybe)! Available at my paysite - www.mongo-bongo-art.com. And of course site members can download the set for free for the next month or thereabouts.

So finally done. Yay. Tired. Will write something witty later. The two pics above are pretty much the only ones that can be safely posted on Blogspot.

Spiderman: Lizard's Tail

I've I always kinda liked Spider-man. Too bad he doesn't fare so well in this set. But bad guys need love too. And this time The Lizard gets some tail from Parker's girlfriend. It's 21 pics of superheroic action available only at www.mongo-bongo-art.com. And the set download is free for members for the next month(or so)! Excelsior! (WTF Does that mean anyway? Or was Stan Lee just crazy and weird shit came out of his mouth whenever he opened it?)

So had some fun with this set. Tried to get a kinda old-skool comic look mixed with my Poser style. I r pleazed with the results. So thanks to Faro09 and his emo-Ulquiorra avatar. He gets a free copy of the set. Cuz that's what happens when you actually attach your name to a suggestion. Weird, huh?

Funny, but I never actually got around to seeing the Spiderman reboot. Saw that the Lizard looked... well... nothing like The Lizard. So just ended up passing on it. Was it any good?

Avengers: Hulk & Black Widow

Avengers Assemble! Or in this case pair up and fuck. So new set with Natasha Romanoff (or Romanova) aka Black Widow and good ole Hulk. 17 pics of super heroic fun over at mongo-bongo-art.com. With the set being free for the next month for members. Yay!

In case you are one of the three people in the world who hasn't seen the new Avengers movie - go see it! It's not the world's best movie, but it is fun and has some really great scenes (Hulk & Loki!). And of course it inspired this set. Now before anyone says anything about Black Widow in the set - all credit for it goes to Mihrelle. I just used her morph and texture. Perfect likeness of Scarlett Johansson. Speaking of which was really NOT a fan of Ms. Johansson when she first hit it big. Mostly because all the pics of her at the time were with the ridiculous clown make-up. Some women can pull off the "candy apple red" lipstick look. She is not one of them. But then saw some pics with normal make-up and was all "Wow!". Right. So just had to toss that in there. Back to the point of the awesome likeness. All credit goes to the vendor on that one. I tried to make a quick Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner actor in the movie). It came out looking like Bill Gates. Seriously. And on another sidenote, Edward Norton made a much better Bruce Banner. Course he is just an epic actor, period.

One gripe with the Avengers movie was Thor getting punked. He's supposed to be a freakin god, and he was just getting slapped around. Plus he was made into a bit of a side-character during the movie. But guess that's a bit dependent on box office sales for the other movies. Which is probably why it was more "Ironman & the Avengers" than a team movie. Oh! One more gripe. The Black Widow character. She's this hot sexy femme fatale seductive killer. In the movie it seemed like they were going for more of the cold professional ice-queen thing, instead of the sexpot assassin. Which kinda competed with the Agent Hill character (omfg Cobie Smulders is so hot!) who did a much better job of the ice-queen schtick. So that was a bit weird. Wonder if it was Johansson's preference not to be sexualized or the studio going with a PC female role-model thing or maybe something else.

Wonder Woman

So this week we have Wonder Woman. Now for the longest time I couldn't really care less about Wonder Woman. The character just didn't really do anything for me. Then I did the Lara Croft & Wonder Woman commission a few months back. And of course did a bit of research into her. Got a bit interested. And then I saw DC's New52 version. No more of the "defeating evil with love and peace" crap. Now it's "I'm a goddamn Amazon demigod and I'll fucking stab you in the face with a sword!". Which frankly seems a bit more like a Amazon warrior chick. Plus the story is pretty good - reminds me alot of Neil Gaiman's stuff. Not overly keen on the art, definitely prefer Jim Lee's version in Justice League. But it still ain't bad.

For my version it's kind of a cross between her new outfit and old one. With a few liberties taken here and there. It's a short little 12 pic set available for viewing and/or download at www.mongo-bongo-art.com.

Another recent commission I did. A superheroine by the name of Ultraviolet with electro-kinetic powers. Really liked the way she turned out.

Commission: Wonder Woman & Lara Croft

Lara travels to Themyscira (Island of the Amazons) to steal a cursed demon idol. Wonder Woman is too late to warn her, and the evil horse demon is unleashed! And his first victims are the unlucky heroines.

Another commission I recently finished. Yeah, I've been doing alot of them. Think I'll take a break from any large commissions for awhile and focus on my stuff for a bit. Anyway, I never really got into the Wonder Woman thing before. Usually stuck to reading Marvel comics. But did a bit of reading and she ain't bad at all.

And the DC Comics reboot ("The New 52"), is pretty damn good! Definitely gonna have to do some stuff with the new Slutfire... err, I mean Starfire.
