More Suggestion/Idea Pics

Okay, some more test pics for the ideas you guys have tossed out so far. First up is the ever popular Jessica Rabbit. Changed her hair out from previous sets cuz that previous hair model was just shitty to work with. Not exactly like her typical hair but I think it looks quite a bit better, and is easier on me for posing & rendering so that counts for alot too. Also slightly tweaked her face and body morphs a bit, and reworked the texture nodes. Already have a partner in mind for her, but open to suggestions as always.

Then we got our little Wild West cowgirl. True, not suggested previously. However, I have gotten myself completely addicted to HBO's Westworld. Which if you haven't checked out, you really should. No it's not the nudey GoT fuckfest that was hinted at with all the press releases, but it has a potentially interesting story. Whether or not it remains interesting or devolves into some Lost-type of bullshit remains to be seen. Anyway, was of course inspired to do a bit of work on our cowgirl. And as a sidenote, the show has also given me a massive hard-on for the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. I am so pre-ordering that shit! Cuz that'd be a good idea, right?

And lastly the suggestion for a redux of Pirotess & the Mind Flayer. One of the very first sets I ever released... and it was terrible. I look back on those sets and just cringe. Course I do that with sets I released last year too. Always room to improve. But I digress. Did quite a bit of reworking for the two of them. Updating the node layout for SSS, changing textures, new morphs and sculpting, altering the poly count on the squid head to not be so... well... shit. Also turns out that Pirotess was the original base for my WoW Belf - totally forgot. Also amusingly enough, I still have never watched Record of Lodoss War all the way through. Think I got a handful of episodes in before getting bored and turning it off. How did it ever become an old school anime staple?

And in general news, working on the Halloween Vampire set that I promised somebody a long ass time ago. Got a week to finish it and will hopefully make the deadline. After that figuring I'll probably do Harley/Bane. Course around that time we will also have the election and reckon I'll fall into a deep depression. So who knows how long that will take to finish.

Idea Test Pics

Alright, first up we got Harley. Pretty happy with how she turned out. Though actually on second look, could probably try a red bra beneath the shirt. Might add something? Anyway, suggestion was for her to pair up with Killer Croc. Gotta say not terribly thrilled on that idea though. He just kinda seemed like a lackluster character in the film. And a quick search through comic history doesn't give alot to go off either. He's just kinda "bleh". Would be fairly easy to model him up though, so he does have that going for it. Am pondering having Bane have a go at her. Again easy to model up, and has that whole "ultimate badass" (and closet Luche Libre) thing going for him. But I am also constantly reminded of Mr Mumbles from the movie, so he has that against him. You guys got any other ideas for who to bang the hell out of Harley?

And then the ever popular Power Girl getting violated by a super mutt. Now some may remember my epic hatred of Krypto - the lame dog in a cape. Which changed with the New 52 when he became the murderous wolf-beast thing, and looked ALOT meaner. Took a bit of time, but got something I was finally satisfied with - thanks Poser Hair room. Some folks suggested "Wolf". Took me awhile to figure out just who/what the fuck "Wolf" was. Turns out it's Lex Luthor's version of evil Krypto - a mutated Timber Wolf. Which the New 52 apparently blatantly ripped off to make the "new Krypto". Go figure. Pretty much all the same in the end. So only thing I'm really stumped on is location/scene. Where shall the bestial frolicking ensue? Oh, and Power Girl's hair. Works? Too short? Pretty happy with it, but still kinda on the fence.

And lastly, our favorite slutty Shadowrun bartender, Cherry Bomb. Here's the poster pic some were asking about. Never really had a set idea in mind for it originally. It was just an add-on pic for another Shadowrun set. Was originally going to go with this pic from way back in the old days of Renderotica. But couldn't figure out who in the hell the artist was (anybody know?). Like many from the early days of render pr0n, he just sorta vanished. So figuring that I couldn't give proper credit, just decided to make my own version. And then since there was some interest, fleshed out the idea a bit more for a set.

So there ya go! If ya have any ideas / opinions on them, post a comment. Currently working on another set (which isn't one of the above). And still have some other idea pics I'm working on as well. But as usual, if you have more ideas post them below.

Amilee Bathtub

Hey look! I can actually make a set of my very own. Amazing! With my favorite postergirl of the site, Amilee. Posing in some solo centerfold shots while taking a bath. It's 30 pics of squeaky clean goodness at mongo-bongo-art.com.

So yeah, it's a set. Once again, pretty fucking amazing I can actually produce one. So played with ALOT of shit in this one. Major part being the geometry morphing / reshaping I mentioned in my last post. And since the pics are in chronological order (there's no particular story-telling in this one) you can see how it progressed as I played with it. And keep in mind I didn't postwork any of her body (just adding soap suds etc), so all of it is just straight render. And if you are sitting there staring blankly saying "So the fuck what?!", then you have no idea of the horror involved in V4's joint bends. Trust me, they would get nasty in most, if not all, of those pics. Requiring plenty of postwork which inevitably leads to a loss of texture and lighting errors in the final pic. So yeah, I'm pretty damn proud of the job I did on that.

Some other things I played with in this were six raytrace bounces for full reflection/refraction through the glass tub. Which came out nice, but is NOT something Poser does well at all. Each render took forever, some up to 20 hours. It is a truly terrible program compared to most others in this day and age. Though tbh I haven't tried the newest version, Poser 11. And probably never will. Cuz I simply don't trust Smithmicro anymore after the ass-fucking they gave me with PoserPro GameDev (which was HORRIBLE). Maybe Poser 11 is good, but fuck them. Not giving them money to find out. Anyway.... Also tried a faked Depth-of-Field effect for the background. Wasn't really liking the grainy-ness of Poser's built-in DoF. In some ways I liked how this turned out, and in other ways not so much. Still need to play around with it more. Oh and also did some reflections on the skin - which admittedly is fairly standard for most artists these days. Cuz human skin (like just about everything else in the world) is reflective to one extent or another. But first time I tried it out with a concentrated attempt. Combined with the multiple raytraces and the sub-surface scattering probably didn't help the render times. Still liked how it turned out, and will probably use it some more in the future.

In other news, got hooked into EvE-Online again. Big war to wipe out the Goons, and who can't pass that up? Sure Goons were fun and all once, but they kinda turned into the very thing they originally fought against - massively arrogant nullsec-renting shitlords who take the game too seriously. And that's why they need to die. Plus they probably pissed alot of people off with their scamming and ganking. If you have no clue wtf I'm talking about, don't worry - it's an EvE thing. So yeah, EvE is the reason why finishing up the postwork on this set took a bit longer than necessary. But fortunately for you guys, CCP never got around to fixing some of the broken things in the game. So the luster has worn off and the honeymoon was short-lived. So while I'll play it a bit, it won't be the time-consuming life-killing monster it normally was. So I'm back to work on the Belf / Old Gods set!

And also we have a new set from Zafo! With a parody of KanColle. Which if you are too lazy to click the link, is a Japanese browser game & anime featuring cute girls as the personifications of ships from WWII and fighting against demons from beneath the sea. Yeah, I know, only the Japanese. Gotta love 'em! Still it's funny as hell and there is a metric shit-ton of Rule34 porn out there for it.

And in this case we have Bismarck attacked by an Abyssal while in dock, taking multiple broadsides fore and aft, and having all her chambers flooded (with cum). It's 36 pics of historically accurate WWII naval battles at mongo-bongo-art.com. And remember all sales go directly to the artist!

Snack Time!

So since the next set is being a complete pain in the ass with lighting and render times, figured I'd give you some snacks to tide you over. Just some random character concepts and set ideas I've been playing around with. Some recent, some from awhile ago. Obviously the Wildstar stuff is recent. Duh.

And since I've been dicking around with the Wildstar Beta weekends, figured I should probably give you my first impressions of it. The theme is magical space cowboys vs. galactic church nazis with some pirates and ninjas thrown in. Yeah it's very tongue-in-cheek and silly. As far as the game system itself, well.... basically it's a WoW clone with a nifty targeting system. To me, any themepark game is pretty much a WoW clone. It's got the standard leveling system and level cap. Standard structured classes. Standard questing and experience system. Standard level-specific resources & crafting system. And other than the targeting, standard combat system. So yeah. For me it was a bit of a let down. Don't get me wrong, it's still fun, silly, entertaining, and definitely playable. I'll definitely be spending some time playing it. I was just kinda hoping for something on the level of EvE (without the douchebaggery). It's nowhere near that level of complexity or detail. But if you liked WoW, then you will like Wildstar. Cuz it's definitely a step up in most regards (gotta give the nod to WoW's depth of lore and story though - but it has been around ALOT longer). Keep in mind though, my Wildstar experience is only up to lvl 17 and is fairly limited. This is only a first impression. Probably a hell of alot more I haven't seen yet.

PP2014 Rocks!

Okay, so been playing around with the new version of Poser for a bit. And it is AWESOME! The Morph Tool / Fitting Room makes it worth it alone. So freaking good! And that's even without having figured it out completely yet. Running into problems with V3 buttocks body parts not transitioning over. Annoying, but I'll get it sorted. Despite that, still some incredible shit. Take for example the above pic on the left. The outfit is an old old old Aery Soul mesh for V3 from before he became Alfaseed, and was still making stuff based off Masamune Shirow art. And it's perfectly fitted onto V4 just using the morph tool. You couldn't even get a conforming outfit made for V4 to fit that well. No more magnets, no more bullshitting around with morphs trying to make a hack job of it. It's gonna make setting up renders sooooo much easier.

The pic on the right has absolutely nothing to do with PP2014. It's just a pic from a couple months ago that I was playing around with. Was contemplating making a SWTOR comic/series based on off her, like one page/week or something. But then realized it would take almost as much time as doing a normal set. But maybe with the new version of Poser it'll be possible. We'll see.

Let's see, other awesome stuff... The library loads incredibly fast now. I seriously have like 500GBs of shit on external HD. What used to take almost 2 minutes to populate the library, now comes up instantly. I don't even keep the library open anymore, just click it when I need it. So screen stays nice and uncluttered. Also, render speeds have increased a bit, so that's a plus. Though I've come to the conclusion that I REALLY do need a new computer. Something like a six core machine so I can have tons of threads processing and just burn thru renders. So time to research.

And speaking of computers.... Microsoft. LOLOLOLOLOL. Seems they FINALLY figured out that people utterly hate their "brilliant" XBoxOne policies. They've gone and done a 180 and will now allow people to game offline, and to be able to freely trade games. Which is nice, but the damage is already done. They fucked themselves at THE biggest computer event of the year, and that's all that people will think of. Plus it's now rather apparent what MS really wants and what they will always be driving towards. So they've kinda made the decision for me of what game system to get - anything EXCEPT an XBox.

Steampunk Adventures #2

Ace pilot Emily Peabody is back at it serving for Queen and Country. It's 36 pics of wholesome Ministry-approved Steampunk adventure! Available at teh paysite - www.mongo-bongo-art.com. And, as always, site members get set download for free for the next month-ish.

Oops! Kinda forgot to make a post for this after uploading it in the wee hours of this morning. 'Course that might be cuz I was knackered (such a funny Brit-ism) from working on it for like 20 hours straight. Yeah, the usual - "ZOMG! Let's add moar!". The two days I spent rendering out background pics that I decided not to use after all (it looked like shit) probably didn't help. But it's done. Now to FINALLY install PP2014 and see how it works. So exciting!

Oh and you may have noticed a slight change in hair color. Figured she looked a bit better as a dirty blonde, and suits the whole dashing English pilot cliche. Though I suppose "dashing" isn't the right term for women. But whatever. You know what I meant.

And in other news it seems there is quite the hubbub over the mysterious disappearance of our Jenny. Seems all the images from her dA page have vanished, she hasn't responded to emails, and her Twitter has been silent for a week. What has happened to Jenny? Inquiring minds want to know! So in the style of great news reporting agencies (like Fox News!) I am starting EXTREME JennyWatch 2014! So if you know what's up, give a shout out.... In all seriousness though, hope nothing has happened.

What's New

So guess we'll start off with some fanart of everybody's favorite slutty goat alien - Monara. Cuz it's come to my attention that some people come to this blog just to see the pics, and not for my sparkling personality, witty insights into the world, and general news commentary. I know, weird. But some people are just that way. In any case, if you don't know who Monara is, you are a bad person. She is the creation of the very awesome Dr. Graevling who can be found on his tumblr page and at Hentai Foundry. Monara is his most famous creation, but he doesn't do a whole lot with her anymore. Mostly cuz nobody plays WoW. Seriously, does anybody admit to still playing that? But w/e, his shit is still good.

PoserPro 2014

In other news, I have been fapping non-stop to the new stuff released in PoserPro 2014. It looks soooo freaking good! First (and most important) is the new fitting room. All my old shit from V3 and A3 that I never got around to deleting (thankfully) I can reuse for V4 (or any other figure). Sure there have been plenty of other fitting programs, but most of them sucked ass. This has the advantage of being native in Poser, plus has smoothing tools to fix problem areas. And can copy over morphs from the character figure to the clothing with the click of a button.

Also, there are weight maps - which means I can paint onto meshes the areas I want to affect, and the relative strength of the effect. Which works in the smoothing, morphing, magnets, pretty much everything. It's soooo fucking useful. Plus the Grouping tool has been made more easy to use. Which doesn't affect most users, but I find myself re-grouping and creating new material zones fairly often. Let's see what else? Material room compound nodes. Basically shrink multiple nodes into one node to keep the material room nice and orderly.

Animation got a huge boost too. Will probably never have time to play around with that as much as I'd like. But some cool effects with an actual physics engine that automatically handles the effects of objects interacting and bouncing off each other. Oh! And dynamics! You can apply cloth dynamics to specific areas of a figure with weight maps. So can do a cushion or bed deformation from somebody lying on it without using morphs or magnets. And more importantly, can do breast squishing effects. Win!

What else? Pixar Subdivision, which basically works like the Smoothing option during rendering, but without alot of the annoying warping. So can now take crappy old school low-poly props and use virtual subdivision to make them look a whole lot better (doesn't solve problems of low-rez textures though). Anything else? Ray-trace Preview. So makes positioning mirrors and other reflective things a bit easier. So sitting here waiting for my upgrade to arrive. Hurry. Hurry. Hurry.

Longyyy

Also a new site to add to the link list as I go thru and clean that up. The super fabulous Longyyy! Who has (imo) the best 3d rendition of Jenny Poussin. Plus some other great hotties like Sarah. Mmmmm.... Sarah. And all of them taking giant super-sized cocks from hulking brutes. So gotta love that! Go check his stuff out!

Wolves Suck

Ok, so I hate wolves. I hate wolves the way that a rancher hates wolves. I hate them the way a lost hiker hates wolves. If I could kill every last wolf on earth and rub the corpses in the face of every douchebag that thinks they are wonderfully beautiful or that they are some sort of bullshit spirit animal, I would be the happiest man ever. Seriously. Fuck Wolves. Fuck them in the ass! Well not literally. That would be sick. But wolves fucking a hot chick, that would be hot... Yeah... That's not hypocritical or fucked up at all, and I certainly don't need psychiatric help. Well whatever. Point is, wolves suck. If they could just be like a hairless Chihuahua or something, they'd be fine. But they aren't. They are all furry and shit, which makes them a pain in the ass to render. Clocked a new record - 10 hour render... Fuck wolves. It's their fault, definitely not my substandard computer's.

But haven't been lazy with my free time. Got some work done on the next set. 2nd laptop is a plus. Amusingly enough next set might even be all posed up by the time the FUCKING WOLVES finish rendering. God I hate them. If you have Tomb Raider 2013, please go shoot every goddamn wolf in the game in the head. Repeatedly. Right. In any case, got the Zergling, Kerrigan, and some scenery done. So some pics for your enjoyment.

And also some random rocker chick I was playing around with. Not really sure what I would use her for though. Ideas?

EDIT - And on a sidenote, Blueberry RedBull isn't very good (currently suffering thru a can of it). Much prefer the Cranberry.
