Le Tour de Mongo

Hot elf chicks and cycling. What more could you ask for? If the Tour de France were more like this, we wouldn't watch anything else. Ever. And it stars our two favorite mascot girls - Amilee & Mynxie. Going head-to-head in more ways than one. All this in an 18 pic set. And as a special addition, a superspecialawesome animation (available in both the gallery and the download). So ride on over to my very French bike-racey website - mongo-bongo-art.com - and check it out!

It's the last few days of the Tour de France!... Yeah I don't watch it much either. But the idea is really cool. Plus after getting my new bike I got inspired. "New bike" you ask? Indeed. For my old bike was stolen. On the 4th of July of all days. Outside a coffee shop. At fucking 7am. Honestly, who fucking steals a bike at 7 in the morning? Dicks. So anyway I got the new bike and it is sweeeeeeeeet. Slides over the road like a drop of sweat down the firm toned ass of a hot elf cyclist. Or something like that. LOL. Oh and was also inspired a bit by the great Galhound set from a few years ago by Masamune Shirow (go look it up if you have no idea wtf I'm talking about).

Anyway this set would have been done a few days ago except for that damn animation. It came out pretty well (still a few things I'd want to fix - of course), but damn did it take long to render. Fortunately I did not have to worry about cats pulling the plug though. Because for starters I do not co-habitate with a feline. Also I work out of my office studio at which there are few cats (in this case "few" meaning none). Plus I planned ahead and hired a sniper to sit on the roof of the building and shoot any cat that came within 200 yards (true story). Course all of that was entirely unnecessary for I was rendering as images instead of as video. It's a handy trick. If the process ever gets interrupted you just restart at whichever frame you left off at. And once they all render you import the images into Windows Movie Maker (it is useful for something) and compile them into a WMV. Works like a charm. Poser tip for the day.

Commission: Blonde & Lizard Beast

Well obviously I have not been posting lately. Been busy gaming and the like. Also, almost managed to completely kill the blog sometime ago. Accidentally deleted everything. Fortunately had an old save that had everything except the most recent post, which didn't even have any pics. So thank goodness for small favors.

In any case... Here's another commission I finished up some weeks ago and finally got around to posting. Client wanted the set based off the pic above (by Cringer990) with just straight hard sex and lots of drool. Enjoy.

And client opted for an animation as well. First time I tried for the multiple angle thing. Kinda liked it. Plus! Got some great tips on how to dramatically cut down the size of the animation files while maintaining quality. Turns out the blank audio track takes up a HUGE amount of space (complete noob when it comes to video rendering).

Silly Animation Test

Showoff Deluxe for A4 and V4.2 by Stimuli (the best animator evah!)

Was watching a Monty Oum interview the other day and was kinda amazed to learn that he mostly used playblasts (ie. quick renders) for his movies. (If you don't know who he is, check out Dead Fantasy - fucking AWESOME!) In any case, figured I'd test it out with a figure, some random props, and a background. Works fine, finishes quick, and quality difference between quick render and my normal animation render is negligible at that size. This took about 5 minutes to render. At my normal settings it'd be 8+ hours.

But whatever. Enjoy the silly animation. And yes, there are alot of poke-thru issues. It's just a quick test after all.

Commission: Alice & Troll

One of my first commissions, and the client was kind enough to allow it to be released. Character is Alice from the Resident Evil set. Turns out she was pretty popular, had three commissions that were based on her.

And two of the three animations the client commissioned. Were more than a little difficult to do.

EDIT - Well since the douchey faggots at Photobucket suddenly decided to start reviewing Flash submissions for adult content it looks like I will no longer be able to use streaming flash on the blog. On the plus side, you can actually download it now. (If you know of a free/cheap streaming flash hoster alternative with unlimited bandwidth, by all means please let me know.)

Resident Evil: Alice

Always had a thing for Milla Jovovich after the first Resident Evil movie. So figured might as well do a quick series for the new RE movie coming out today. She's getting a little long in the tooth, but she's still pretty damn hot. Granted the movie will probably suck horribly, but that's why I'll wait to catch it on Blu-Ray on something.

A bit less Aiko on this one. Mostly because the dress didn't support the A4 morphs. Kinda like it. Nice change of pace from my usual semi-anime style.

And hey look! It's an animation.

Plus some pics of Jill Valentine and Sheva Alomar for sets I might do in the future.

Playing Around with Animations

Trying out some animations and embedding flash to see how it works... And after about 20 attempts and various hosting sites I finally figured it out. Seems that attaching it to Google.sites was the easiest solution.

In any case finally finishing up the Death Knight: Demon Breed set and should (hopefully) have it up within the week.
